Official Rules for #HealthShare Your Story Social Media Contest

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. ELIGIBILITY
The #HealthShare Your Story Contest (the "Contest") is open only to HealthShare Credit Union members who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of HealthShare Credit Union ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings) and those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

2. SPONSOR
The Contest is sponsored by HealthShare Credit Union, referred to in these rules as "Sponsor."

3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

4. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on 04.01.25 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on 04.30.25 at 11:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.

5. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, participants must complete the following during the Contest Period:

• Follow HealthShare Credit Union on [list applicable social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.].
• Film a short testimonial/member story. 
• Tag HealthShare Credit Union and hashtag #healthshare

Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will not be counted. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, or suspected of fraud.

6. WINNER SELECTION
Winner(s) will be selected in a from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period based upon the highest number of likes, comments, and reactions. The drawing will be conducted within two days of the Contest’s conclusion. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential winner(s) will be notified within five days of selection. If a winner does not respond within two days of the notification attempt, an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s discretion. HealthShare Credit Union is not responsible for any failure of a winner to receive notification due to spam filtering, privacy settings, or incorrect contact information.

8. PRIZES
Two (2) $500 cash deposits into winning members' share accounts. One prize per winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable. Tax reporting is sole responsibility of winners selected. 

9. PUBLICITY
By entering the Contest, participants grant HealthShare Credit Union the right to use their name, likeness, and submission content in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failure, or other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or undeliverable entries.

11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.

12. DISPUTES
Any disputes arising from the Contest will be resolved individually, without resorting to class action, and exclusively in the courts of NC. Any claims, judgments, or awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees.
